color pigments marketed under the product brands Bayferrox® and Colortherm® are available in Red, Yellow, Green, Brown and Black. In between these colors a wide variety of additional shades are possible. The Bayferrox® product range is based on iron oxide pigments. Within the Colortherm® product range, the red, yellow, brown and black pigments are also based on iron oxides. However, there are also Colortherm® Green products which are based on chrome oxide pigments.
Synthetically produced inorganic color pigments are available in different delivery forms: powder, micronized powder, granules and compacted pigments. All products are recognized for their outstanding color stability, excellent light fastness, weather stability and chemical resistance.
Colortherm® Red 110 M is a heat stable, micronized iron oxide red pigment. The product is ideally suited to the coloring of plastics or masterbatches. In addition it can also be applied in the field of Wood Plastic Composites.
Bayferrox® 225 is an iron oxide red pigment. It is delivered as powder and can be applied for the coloration of a wide variety of construction materials. As a result of the manufacturing process (Laux-process), which includes a high temperature calcining step.
Colortherm® Red 110 M is a heat stable, micronized iron oxide red pigment. The product is ideally suited to the coloring of plastics or masterbatches. In addition it can also be applied in the field of Wood Plastic Composites. The product exhibits good dispersibility, even in processes which have short dwell times and relatively low shear forces. It is easy to break down and distribute to reach its final tinting strength quickly. It does not migrate and is very lightfast and weather stable. The pigment belongs to the Colortherm® product range that has been developed particularly for applications where high heat stability is required.

Bayferrox® 225 is an iron oxide red pigment. It is delivered as powder and can be applied for the coloration of a wide variety of construction materials. As a result of the manufacturing process (Laux-process), which includes a high temperature calcining step, the pigment has a higher intrinsic hardness than other precipitated pigments. It is very resistant to color change during high energy dispersion processes. The high temperatures involved in the calcining process also give the pigment outstanding heat stability.
